Vivo has introduced a new smartphone under its Y-series in China today. The Y200i follows the Y100i, which was unveiled last November, offering a fresh design and some enhancements over its predecessor.

The Vivo Y200i showcases a sleek frame with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. Its back panel features a subtly textured appearance with a circular camera setup, while being IP64 dust and waterproof.
Display and Camera Details
The front of the Vivo Y200i sports a 6.72-inch LCD screen delivering FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. An 8MP front camera is nestled within a central punch-hole cutout. For photography, the device boasts a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 2MP portrait lens.
Performance and Pricing
Powering the Vivo Y200i is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It offers up to 12GB of RAM, including 12GB of virtual RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. The phone houses a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support and runs on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
The Vivo Y200i comes in Blue, Glacier White, and Midnight Black color options. It kicks off at CNY 1,599 ($225) for the 8GB + 128GB model, with the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants priced at CNY 1,799 ($253) and CNY 1,999 (~$281) respectively. Pre-orders are now open, and sales will start on April 27.
