Vivo has launched its new flagship smartphone series, the X200 and X200 Pro, in Malaysia. This event marks the global introduction of these devices, which were first revealed in China last month.
Features of the Vivo X200 Series
Both smartphones come with a 120Hz OLED display that can reach brightness levels of 4,500 nits. The X200 has a 6.67-inch screen, while the Pro variant offers a bigger 6.78-inch display. Additionally, the Pro version includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor located under the screen, providing extra security.
Technical Specifications
Inside, both phones are driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The X200 is designed with three 50MP cameras, whereas the X200 Pro enhances the telephoto lens, equipping it with a 200MP sensor to boost zoom performance.
Battery and Charging
The X200 comes with a 5,800mAh battery, while the X200 Pro has a 6,000mAh battery. Both smartphones support 90W wired charging, and the Pro model also features 30W wireless charging capabilities.
Pricing and Availability
The X200 Pro is sold in two colors: Titanium Gray and Midnight Blue. Both phones are available in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The price for the X200 Pro is MYR 4,699 ($1,050).
The standard X200 can be found in Midnight Blue and Aurora Green, also in a configuration of 16GB/512GB. Its price is MYR 3,599 ($800).
The Vivo X200 series is currently available for pre-order in Malaysia, and shipping is expected to start soon after the pre-order phase concludes. There are plans for the devices to debut in Thailand on November 28. As for other markets like the EU, UK, and India, further information remains unclear.
