Varmilo, a well-known brand for mechanical keyboards, has launched its new gaming keyboard, the Muse65. This 65% compact keyboard features magnetic switches and an aluminum alloy case, merging aesthetic charm with high performance.

The mechanical keyboard comes in five themed designs, inspired by natural elements and Viking culture: Ariel, Aurora, Sakura, Summit, and Asgard. Each theme showcases its distinct style through the keycaps, metal case, and glass plate weight.
The Muse65 offers two types of Gateron magnetic switches: Magnetic White and Magnetic Jade, engineered for precise actuation and excellent tactile feedback.
- Magnetic White switches: Actuation range of 0.10-4.00mm, initial force of 30 ± 7gf, and end force of 50 ± 7gf.
- Magnetic Jade switches: Actuation range of 0.02-3.40mm, with the same force specifications.
Both switch types boast a lifespan of up to 150 million clicks, ensuring durability for intense gaming sessions.
Rapid Trigger Mode and High Polling Rate
The keyboard includes a rapid trigger mode for quick and accurate key presses, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming, especially in FPS games. It features a high polling rate of 8000Hz and a total latency of just 0.2ms, ensuring near-instantaneous keypress registration.
Constructed with a full CNC metal case, the Muse65 offers a sturdy and stable feel. It uses an aluminum plate and a tray mount with 15 screws, combined with silicone padding for consistent sound quality without deformation. The RGB lighting, powered by independent Hall Effect chips, maintains sensitivity even at maximum lighting effects.
Customizability and Compatibility
The Muse65 is hot-swappable, allowing for easy switch customization. It supports N-key rollover and is compatible with both MacOS and Windows, although the driver system is currently available only for Windows, with a web driver expected in October. The keyboard also supports various customization options like multimedia keys, RGB lighting, and macro keys, accessible through the Varmilo HE Driver.
