TCL recently added a new 75-inch model to its FFALCON Thunderbird Crane 6 Pro series, featuring a MiniLED display. This follows the introduction of the 55-inch and 65-inch variants earlier in the month.

Upgraded Display Features

The 75-inch model showcases significant enhancements in backlight zones, now boasting 640 zones compared to 384 and 512 zones on its smaller counterparts. This upgrade delivers crisper contrasts and more precise lighting control, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

TCL Thunderbird Crane 6 Pro Specifications

The 75-inch Crane 6 Pro 2024 sports a MiniLED 4K VA panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Retaining key features from its smaller models, it offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, and compatibility with Dolby Vision IQ and IMAX Enhanced. Additionally, it incorporates the TSR picture quality engine for intelligent frame-by-frame analysis.

Powered by a MediaTek MT9653 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the TCL Thunderbird Crane 6 Pro runs on Android 11.0 OS and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity.

The TV ensures a startup advertisement-free experience and features a "2.1 Cinema-grade Sound" system delivering a maximum power output of 50W, along with a 20W rear subwoofer for enriched bass.

Enhanced Connectivity and Gaming Features

Offering versatile connectivity options such as two HDMI 2.1 ports, standard HDMI 2.0 ports, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0 ports, the TV caters to various device connections. Gamers will appreciate the dual HDMI 2.1 FRL ports with 48Gbps bandwidth, supporting 4K resolution at a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR for smoother gameplay. The TV includes a 24P movie mode for a cinematic experience.

Gaming Customization

The Crane 6 Pro TV features a GameBar toolbar for gamers to make real-time adjustments like a crosshair overlay, dark detail enhancement, and automatic low latency mode, tailoring the gaming experience to their preferences. Earlier this year, TCL also unveiled the FFalcon Thunderbird Crane 7 TV 2024 models in China, starting at 4999 Yuan ($694).
