  • Sharge Loomos AI Glasses: Release Date and Lowest Price Revealed

Sharge Loomos AI Glasses: Release Date and Lowest Price Revealed

loomos has given a sneak peek of its first-generation smart glasses, likening them to a mix of Meta’s Ray-Bans and a Shargeek 140 power bank. This blend is not unexpected, as the brand loomos is a new offshoot of Sharge.

    Pricing Details

One interesting aspect is the starting price, which may be a welcome surprise for those familiar with the Meta alternatives that start around $290.90 on Amazon. Sharge has revealed that its new loomos glasses will begin at $199.99, but there’s a catch.

This introductory price applies only to the first 2,000 units sold through Kickstarter. After that, the cost will increase to $209 for the next 4,000 units and $219 for the following 4,000. Eventually, the glasses could be priced at a suggested retail price of $299.

    Additional Features

Additionally, customers can opt to bundle the glasses with a new Sharge power bank, which is designed like a neckband and offers a battery capacity of 6,500mAh to enhance the loomos’ battery life.

The glasses are marketed as “all-day” AI wearables even without the power bank. However, Sharge has also noted that the up-to-4K video recordings are limited to just 5 minutes.

    Specifications

The loomos smart glasses are equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC internal memory. They can connect to smartphones using Bluetooth 5.0 and have IP5X and IPX4 ratings for dust and water resistance, respectively.

Moreover, they can be fitted with prescription lenses and come with a dedicated Unisoc quad-core processor to support its AI assistant based on GPT 4o. The crowdfunding campaign for the loomos glasses will kick off on January 28, 2025, at 10:00 EST (16:00 CET).

Sharge has decided to emphasize built-in cables in their newest stylish products. For those seeking this feature in a uniquely designed power bank, the new Pouch Mini is a great option.

    Design and Features

Just like the previous model, the cable is red and sports a shiny metallic dust cover. It’s physically linked to the new double-barrel design of the 10,000mAh device and can also be connected into its own USB-C port, serving as a “sturdy, wear-resistant” handle for carrying it around.

    Charging Capabilities

The Pouch Mini comes with a USB type-A port, allowing it to charge up to three devices simultaneously. However, contrary to the new Retractable 65, it has a maximum output of only 30 watts (W).

  • New Sharge CarbonBlade Lightweight Power Bank Now Available

New Sharge CarbonBlade Lightweight Power Bank Now Available

Sharge has introduced the CarbonBlade portable power bank in various locations around the globe. This device was first revealed earlier this year and is one of three new carbon fiber products from the company, joining the CarbonMag (5K) and CarbonMag (10K).

    Power and Features

The CarbonBlade is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery, enabling users to charge an iPhone 15 approximately 1.7 times or a Samsung Galaxy S24 roughly 1.5 times. It comes with two ports—USB-A and USB-C—that can deliver a fast charging output of up to 22.5W PD. Reports indicate it can charge an iPhone 15 to 71% in just 25 minutes. Additional features include a low current mode, support for other fast charging standards like QC3.0 and PPS, plus safety elements such as short-circuit protection and safeguards against extreme heat. Sharge claims the power bank is ultra-light and ultra-slim, with a weight of 165g (~0.36 lbs) and dimensions of 122 x 61 x 11.6 mm (~4.80 x 2.40 x 0.46 inches). This makes it lighter and slimmer than the Anker PowerCore 10000, which currently costs $25.99 on Amazon, weighing 180g (~0.40 lbs) and measuring 92 × 60 × 22 mm (~3.6 × 2.4 × 0.9 inches). However, it is thicker and heavier than the Nitecore NB1000, which has a thickness of 10.6 mm (~0.42 inches) and weighs 150g (~0.33 lbs).

    Durability and Pricing

Along with being lighter, carbon fiber is known for its durability and smooth texture. The Sharge CarbonBlade power bank is listed at $69.90/£55.62/€69.90, but it is currently offered at a reduced price of $49.90/£39.70/€49.90.

  • Sharge Loomos: Smart Glasses for 4K Photos and Hi-Fi Audio

Sharge Loomos: Smart Glasses for 4K Photos and Hi-Fi Audio

Sharge has just announced that its upcoming sub-brand will soon introduce a clear alternative to devices like the Meta Ray-Bans. The new line, loomos, aims to surpass its rivals by being the “world’s first” eyewear featuring a 16MP camera.

    Enhanced Resolution

With this upgrade in resolution, users should be able to record videos in up to 1080p, while taking images that can reach up to 4K quality. Additionally, the audio quality is expected to be just as impressive, utilizing AAC0920 speakers for a sound experience similar to popular accessories like the Nothing ear (open) buds.

    Advanced Voice Assistant

These glasses will also allow users to connect with the loomos voice assistant, which will be powered by GPT-4o technology. This is meant to provide a more seamless and responsive AI interaction compared to other smart wearables, avoiding a “clunky” experience.

    Lightweight Design

Sharge boasts that its first-generation glasses come with the largest battery available, boasting a capacity of 450mAh. Interestingly, this might mean users won’t need to rely heavily on a Shargeek power bank.

Despite this, the glasses are expected to weigh no more than 49 grams. With adjustable nose pads and hinges, they are designed to ensure an “all-day fit for everyone.”

The loomos smart glasses are set to be launched early next year, promising cutting-edge hands-free “everyday AI.”

  • Sharge Launches First-Gen Smart Glasses in New AI Wearables Line

Sharge Launches First-Gen Smart Glasses in New AI Wearables Line

Sharge is well-known for its innovative storage solutions and Shargeek power banks, but its latest announcement is unrelated to these products.

    Teasing the Future of Wearables

The brand has not yet fully unveiled its first-generation loomos glasses, which might be a clever twist on the word ‘lumos.’ However, the initial teaser strongly suggests that these glasses will feature transparent frames, possibly making competitors like Nothing wish they had thought of it first.

    Exciting Features Ahead

The new teaser shows that the glasses will include audio features similar to Bose Frames, along with a visible on-board camera. Additionally, the brand is introducing “wearable AI,” which they believe will soon become a necessary part of daily life.

    Enhancing Daily Experiences

These loomos glasses are designed to let users enjoy “Every Shot, Every Tune, Every Insight” in a single device, potentially decreasing the need for a smartphone. They promise a user experience that addresses common issues such as poor battery life, bulkiness, and a lack of fluidity that some earlier AI wearables faced.

    Competing with Major Brands

It appears that Sharge is targeting competitors like Meta and Ray-Ban, rather than focusing on augmented reality glasses like the XREAL One, which can currently be found for $499 on Amazon.

    Upcoming Availability

The Sharge loomos glasses are expected to launch soon, with early-bird pricing offered at a discount.

    Enhanced Power Delivery

The power bank now includes a USB-C port that supports up to 30W of power delivery, an upgrade from the previous 20W in the first-generation ICEMAG. It can charge a new iPhone by 50% in just 25 minutes when using a cable.

    Versatile Charging Options

Additionally, users can benefit from MagSafe charging by attaching it to the back of the same iPhone, or take advantage of the series-first Qi2 technology, which allows for charging speeds of up to 15W, compared to the 7.5W of older models.

Sharge claims that this power bank can possibly charge two devices at once, thanks to its impressive 10,000mAh capacity.
