A recent report from yesterday states that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s global version is set to come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, along with three different color choices. The device has received certification from China’s FCC listing, and its camera setup has been seen in China’s 3C certification, shedding more light on its features.
Model Identification
The FCC listing identifies the Xiaomi 15 Ultra by its model number “25010PN30G” and FCC ID “2AFZZPN30G.” The documents show that it will support various connectivity options, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. Additionally, it will have tri-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (BR, EDR, LE), and NFC. It is also anticipated to come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15.
Photography Kit Certification
In addition to the phone itself, the 15 Ultra’s Photography Kit has received certification from China’s 3C. Last year’s version included a camera handle, 67mm filter adapter rings, a lens cover, a lanyard, and even a built-in 1,500mAh battery for recharging the phone. We’ll have to see if Xiaomi makes any improvements in this area.
This FCC and 3C certification adds to the extensive list of approvals the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has achieved, which includes certifications from EMVCo, SDPPI, EEC, MIIT, and BIS.
Expected Specifications
Among the expected specifications, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, possibly accompanied by a proprietary Surge chip. The display is expected to be a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED micro-curved panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The rear camera setup is speculated to be a quad-lens system, likely featuring a 50MP one-inch main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens that includes macro capabilities and 4.3x zoom.
Powering the device is believed to be a 6000mAh battery that supports both 90W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. Other potential features may include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual satellite communication capability, and choices for a plain leather, glass, or ceramic back panel.
Xiaomi is expected to reveal the 15 Ultra in China around next month, likely February 2025, with a worldwide launch anticipated in March.
