Leaker Igor Bogdanov has posted detailed photos of the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P, which are set to take the place of the Osmo Mobile 6 (currently priced at $119.95 on Amazon) later this month. The retail packaging shared by a usually trustworthy source adds weight to this; it appears these images come from a third-party merchant, rather than directly from DJI.
Battery Life and Performance
The photos also seem to confirm earlier information that DJI will promote the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P as having up to 10 hours of battery life each. It’s said that these gimbals will achieve this using 3,350 mAh batteries, representing more than a 50% improvement over the current Osmo Mobile 6.
Features and Differences
Both gimbals, Osmo Mobile 7, will include ‘one-tag’ editing features and DJI’s ‘easy tutorials’ system. Additionally, they will come with 3-axis stabilization. The Osmo Mobile 7P will have some unique features, like a built-in extension rod and enhanced tracking abilities. At the moment, DJI is expected to announce a global launch for both models on February 18, with the following pricing details:
