New Details on DJI Osmo Mobile 7 and RS 4 Mini Releases

In recent weeks, numerous sources have been revealing information about DJI’s upcoming camera gimbals. To summarize, it looks like the firm plans to release the Osmo Mobile 7, Osmo Mobile 7P, and RS 4 Mini. After this, insiders like Jasper Ellens and Igor Bogdanov have shared insights not only about the Air 4 but also the Mini 5 Pro. At first, it was tough to predict how DJI would kick off the year, especially with the numerous leaks regarding the Mavic 4 that have surfaced lately.

    Pricing and Release Dates

As reported by @billbil_kun, DJI’s fresh camera gimbals will be the first to launch, with the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P available starting February 18 for £85/$89/€99 and £135/$149/€159, respectively. Both of these new Osmo Mobile gimbals will come equipped with 3,350 mAh batteries, a significant upgrade from the 1,000 mAh battery of the Osmo Mobile 6 (currently priced at $129 on Amazon). While the Osmo Mobile 6 is officially rated for about 6.5 hours of usage, @billbil_kun indicates that the Osmo Mobile 7 and 7P will provide around 10 hours of runtime thanks to their larger battery capacity.

    Upcoming Releases

Additionally, the same source claims that February will also see the launch of the RS 4 Mini. Supposedly, this camera gimbal will officially hit the market on February 20, with price tags of £339, $369, and €389 in the UK, US, and Eurozone, respectively. DJI is also anticipated to provide a combo package for the RS 4 Mini with added costs of £80, $90, and €90. Although the specific details of this combo are still unclear, @billbil_kun mentions that the gimbal could last up to 13 hours on its 3,100 mAh battery between charges.

    Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the information shared by Dealabs and @billbil_kun sets the stage for an exciting release period for DJI fans and content creators alike. With enhanced battery life and competitive pricing, the Osmo Mobile 7, Osmo Mobile 7P, and RS 4 Mini are poised to make a significant impact in the gimbal market. As we await official announcements, it’s clear that DJI has some intriguing products in the pipeline.

  • New DJI RS 4 Mini Gimbal and Intelligent Tracking Module Leaked

New DJI RS 4 Mini Gimbal and Intelligent Tracking Module Leaked

Igor Bogdanov is back, sharing new details about the RS 4 Mini after briefly looking at the Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P yesterday. He was actually the first to leak official images of the RS 4 Mini, which were first seen at regulatory agencies late last year.

    New Lifestyle Photos

In his earlier posts, Bogdanov provided quite dull product images that didn’t really show the RS 4 Mini in action. However, this time he has shared a variety of ‘lifestyle’ shots, showcasing the camera gimbal in more appealing environments. It’s clear that DJI is gearing up to promote the RS 4 Mini, particularly highlighting its new Intelligent Tracking module, which connects using eight pogo pins.

    Compatibility Insights

The first image below also seems to indicate that the Intelligent Tracking module will work with the Osmo Mobile 7. From what we can gather, this module should enable both the Osmo Mobile 7 and RS 4 Mini to utilize DJI ActiveTrack, a feature drones use for tracking moving subjects. At this point, it’s still uncertain if DJI will extend Intelligent Tracking support to last year’s RS 4 and RS 4 Pro, which is currently priced at $869 on Amazon.

  • New DJI Camera Gimbal Images Leak Ahead of Official Release

New DJI Camera Gimbal Images Leak Ahead of Official Release

Leaker Igor Bogdanov has shared a sneak peek at the RS 4 Mini, which aims to serve as a more affordable option compared to both the RS 4 and RS 4 Pro (currently priced at $869 on Amazon) that were launched less than a year ago. To provide some background, hints about DJI working on a third model in the RS lineup first appeared in September 2024.

    Release Date Uncertain

As of now, there’s no confirmed release date for the RS 4 Mini, even though it has been listed in a regulatory database for over four months. In the meantime, Bogdanov has leaked four official images showcasing the camera gimbal and its related accessories. Sadly, we can only see two sides of the RS 4 Mini in these photos, which restricts the amount of info we can gather.

    Features and Accessories

From the available images, it looks like the RS 4 Mini has a joystick mode switch for controlling the gimbal or zoom functions, similar to its RS 4 counterparts. Bogdanov also notes that DJI has developed a unique accessory for the camera gimbal. Although he hasn’t disclosed specifics about this accessory, he suggests that it, represented by an emoji, ‘will change everything.’ It seems likely that he will provide additional details about this accessory soon.
