However, with a peak clock speed of 2.8 GHz, the Hygon C86 achieves single-core performance comparable to the Core i7-12700, scoring only 1,073 and 8,811 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests, which is quite disappointing.
Cooling and Design
Despite these underwhelming performance figures, Thunderobot has opted to keep the Hygon C86 well-cooled with an all-in-one (AIO) cooler, which includes a radiator mounted on top and three other sizable fans.
