It looks like HMD is gearing up to launch a new mid-range smartphone, following a leak that showcases some important specifications and images of the device, which is referred to as ''Sage''.
Source of the Leak
The information comes from an X account, HMD Meme's (@smashx_60), who is recognized for sharing insights about upcoming HMD products. The post detailing the phone's specifications indicates that it will feature a 6.55-inch OLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Performance Details
The HMD Sage will run on the Unisoc T760 processor, identical to the one found in the HMD Crest Max. There’s no indication of the RAM and storage options. Nevertheless, the smartphone will boast a 50MP main rear camera alongside a 50MP front camera.
Additional Features
While the battery capacity hasn't been disclosed, the leak suggests that the device will support 33W fast wired charging through a USB-C connection. The source also notes that the HMD Sage will come with an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, an audio jack, and NFC capabilities.
The images of the HMD Sage indicate that it will resemble the HMD Skyline (currently listed on Amazon for $449), though it will have two rear cameras. It will feature a polycarbonate frame, a matte finish on the back, and will be offered in green, blue, and red color choices.
As of now, there is no information available regarding the announcement date, pricing, or the regions where it will be sold.
