The PlayStation 5 Slim, also known as the CFI-2000 model, is priced at 54,990 INR for the base version, which comes equipped with a disc drive. In contrast, the PS5 Slim Digital Edition is a more affordable option, priced at 44,990 INR. Both versions are set to go on sale officially starting from 5th April 2024 and will be accessible for purchase through various leading retailers across the country.

The Sony PS5 Slim is a sleeker and more compact rendition of the standard PS5, featuring a detachable disc drive. This Slim variant boasts a 30 percent reduction in volume and a weight reduction of up to 24 percent. Beyond its updated design, the storage capacity has been increased to 1TB, accompanied by a second USB-C port on the front.
Despite its smaller size, the PS5 Slim maintains top-notch performance, housing hardware similar to the base PS5 model. Notably, the console is currently available in a single White color option in India, though new color variants such as Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver were introduced earlier this year as part of the Deep Earth collection. It is speculated that these color options may soon be made available in the Indian market as well.
