The Galaxy S25 series seems to be a while away from an official launch. At this moment, Samsung has yet to announce anything. Nevertheless, the numerous leaks surrounding the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra suggest that we might see an official reveal in January.
Accessories Prepared Early
In preparation for the new models, third-party companies are already getting their accessories ready to replace the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, which currently retails for $895 on Amazon. Roland Quandt has released some images on X (formerly known as Twitter) showing what appear to be unofficial clear cases. It's still a mystery who made these cases.
Expectations for the New Series
Despite the uncertainties, these cases align with the current expectations for the Galaxy S25 series. Rumors suggest that they will come exclusively with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus are anticipated to closely resemble their predecessors. Both models should feature three vertically arranged rear cameras, slim display bezels, and an overall flat design.
Design Changes for the Ultra Model
On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to have a slight redesign compared to Samsung's previous 'Ultra' smartphones. According to the information we have, next year's Galaxy S Ultra will depart from the boxy style of its predecessor while keeping a similar camera layout and flat display. Additionally, it is rumored that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be smaller than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, aiming for better ergonomics. Recently, leaked color options for all three models have surfaced online, which we have looked into separately.
