However, it’s important to note that the impressive 4,000-nit peak brightness is only applicable to 3% of the panel when viewing HDR content (3% APL). According to FlatpanelsHD, Samsung privately showed that the combination of three blue OLED layers and two green allows the S95F to achieve 440 nits on a white background, a noticeable increase from the 300 nits of its previous model.
