Samsung is gearing up for its next Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled on June 10. The event is highly anticipated as the company is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones, potentially named the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Just before the official announcement, Tarun Vats on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared a screenshot that reveals the reservation date for these new devices.

According to the shared poster, pre-reservations for these smartphones will commence on June 26, 2024. Tarun mentioned that this date is specific to the Indian market, leaving the reservation timelines for other regions uncertain. Confirmations from a recent Geekbench listing indicate that the US unlocked model of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Specifications
Leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with a 7.6-inch internal Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a 6.3-inch external Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The internal screen will offer a resolution of 2160 x 1856 pixels, whereas the external screen will provide 2376 x 968 pixels. The outer display is expected to feature a 10MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout, while the interior display will house a 4MP sensor.
Internally, the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, complemented by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will likely include a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging speed. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, the device will match the clock speeds of the Galaxy S24 series, with cores running at 3.39 GHz, 3.1 GHz, 2.9 GHz, and 2.2 GHz. Storage options include 256 GB and 512 GB.
The camera configuration will feature a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10 MP front-facing camera without autofocus. It will support video recording at 4K 60 FPS, 1080P 60 FPS, and slow-motion recording at 1080P 120 or 240 FPS. Connectivity features are expected to include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB 3.2 Gen 1.
