Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 smartphone series on January 22. The series is set to include three models: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Additionally, there are rumors of a fourth model called the Galaxy S25 Slim, which is anticipated to arrive in May. Recently, Smartprix collaborated with well-known leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (also known as OnLeaks) to release CAD renders of the S25 Slim, giving us a sneak peek at its design.
Design Features of the Galaxy S25 Slim
The design of the Galaxy S25 Slim follows the style of the other models in the S25 lineup. Interestingly, the thickness of the phone has been notably decreased to just 6.4mm. When considering the camera bump, the total thickness rises slightly to 8.3mm. For reference, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a thickness of 8.2mm when excluding the camera bump.
Dimensions and Build Quality
In terms of size, the Galaxy S25 Slim is approximately 159 x 76 x 6.4mm, making it shorter and slimmer compared to the S25 Ultra, which measures 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm. It’s expected that the S25 Slim will come with a metal frame and a glass back, enhancing its premium feel.
Display and Camera Capabilities
On the front side, the Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to feature either a 6.7-inch or a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with extremely thin bezels. It’s reported that the rear of the phone will house a triple camera setup, including a 200-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and another 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, powered by Samsung’s AloP lens technology.
The ultra-slim phone is probably going to have a battery capacity of under 4,000mAh. Inside, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset along with 12GB of RAM. The device is likely to run on One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, and may offer up to 512GB of internal storage.
