Samsung Galaxy A06 FCC Certification Confirms Battery Capacity

The Samsung Galaxy A06, which was previously noticed on the BIS website, has now been granted FCC certification, indicating that it may soon be available globally. The FCC listing discloses the Galaxy A06's model number as A065F/DS and verifies its compatibility with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and LTE connectivity.

Battery and Dimensions

The Galaxy A06 features a rated battery capacity of 4,855 mAh with a typical value of 5,000 mAh. The device's dimensions are 167.3 x 77.31 mm in height and width. With the FCC certification in hand, it is anticipated that Samsung's new budget-friendly phone will be launched in various international markets.

Performance and Display

The previously disclosed Geekbench results for the Galaxy A06 display that it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, scoring 1,664 in single-core and 5,326 in multi-core tests. Although it may not be a high-performance device, the Galaxy A06 should suffice for basic daily functions. The smartphone will sport a 6.7-inch HD+ screen.

Camera and Storage

Equipped with the Helio G85 chipset, the phone boasts 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for additional storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, while the front features an 8MP camera for selfies. Unfortunately, the Galaxy A06 does not include a fingerprint sensor.
