Robrock has introduced a pre-sale event for the G20S Ultra robot vacuum and mop in China. This model is the newest flagship version, enhancing the already available G20S with numerous upgrades for both the robot itself and its docking station.
Enhanced Features
The G20S Ultra is designed to be sleek and compact, standing at just 7.98 cm (approximately 3.1 inches) tall. This height makes it shorter than the Qrevo Slim robot vacuum, which is 8.2 cm (around 3.2 inches) tall, and the G20S, which is 10.3 cm (about 4.1 inches) tall. Instead of using LiDAR technology, the Ultra employs the StarSight 2.0 autonomous navigation system. It also features notable specifications similar to the recently launched Qrevo Curv, including an impressive suction power of 18,500 Pa, the DuoDivide Main Brush to better handle hair, and the AdaptiLift Chassis that allows it to navigate over higher thresholds—features that the standard G20S does not offer. Additionally, the self-cleaning docking station for the G20S Ultra has been upgraded to sterilize using water heated to 80°C (approximately 176°F), a significant increase from the previous 60°C (around 140°F) capability.
Pricing and Availability
The standard Roborock G20S Ultra robot vacuum and mop can be pre-ordered in China for a special price of 4,999 yuan (about $705). After the pre-sale event concludes on September 19th, the price will revert to its original retail price of 6,999 CNY (approximately $987). As of now, it remains uncertain when or if this new model will be available in other regions, such as North America or Europe.
