Our latest database findings have uncovered the model number and marketing name of this upcoming Xiaomi tablet. Recently, the tablet identified in our database has obtained IMDA certification, reinforcing the anticipation of its launch. The release of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 seems imminent.
Earlier, we mentioned that Xiaomi is working on a tablet named Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. This indicates a new connectivity option compared to the previous Redmi Pad SE model. The new version will support mobile data connectivity. The earlier Redmi Pad SE came with an 11-inch screen, whereas the forthcoming tablet will feature an 8.7-inch display.
Redmi Pad SE 8.7 IMDA Certificate
A new device bearing the model number 24076RP19G has appeared on IMDA’s website. This matches the model number we disclosed in our previous Redmi Pad SE 8.7 leak. Although the IMDA certification does not reveal the marketing name, we already know which device corresponds to this model number.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 will have different model numbers for the global and Indian variants. The Chinese variant has not been spotted yet, so it remains uncertain whether Xiaomi will release this device in China. We anticipate Xiaomi to introduce this affordable compact tablet soon, possibly in July 2024.
