Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi Pad Pro 5G to the Indian market on July 29th. This tablet, which was hinted at for a global release earlier in the month, is already on sale in China. Alongside this, the Indian launch will also unveil the Redmi Pad SE 4G. Here’s a closer look at the Redmi Pad Pro 5G.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G Specifications:
The device boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The screen can achieve brightness levels up to 600 nits, supports Dolby Vision, and is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, the tablet is driven by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor clocked at up to 2.4GHz, coupled with an Adreno 710 GPU. It will be available with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2, expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD card. The operating system is Android 14-based HyperOS.
Camera and Connectivity:
Similar to its version in China, the tablet is expected to feature an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. For connectivity, it will likely support 5G with dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ac) on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C 2.0. The device will be powered by a substantial 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. Audio-wise, it will come with a quad-speaker setup supporting Dolby Atmos.
