During the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia 2024 event in Shanghai, China, Wang Teng Thomas, who serves as the Deputy General Manager of Xiaomi China's Marketing Department and General Manager of the Redmi brand, shared exciting updates regarding Redmi’s ongoing partnership with Lamborghini. Previously, this collaboration resulted in the release of two significant devices: the Redmi K70 Pro Championship Edition and the Redmi K70 Ultra Championship Edition.
Redmi-Lamborghini Collaboration Announced
Wang Teng Thomas was present at a Lamborghini track day event in Shanghai, marking the first time the Redmi logo was displayed on a Lamborghini race car (see image below). This appearance has been confirmed on Redmi's Weibo account, which announced a forthcoming collaboration between Redmi and Lamborghini. This new partnership is expected to center around the K80 series, anticipated to launch in November.

According to reports, Redmi plans to unveil the Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones in China later this month. Additionally, in October, Xiaomi, the parent company of Redmi, is set to introduce the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets. Following this, in November, Redmi is expected to launch three new phones: the Redmi K80e, Redmi K80, and Redmi K80 Pro.
The K80 series is likely to feature the Dimensity 8400, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets. The K80 and K80 Pro have already been spotted in China’s radio certification database, suggesting a November release is on the horizon.
Redmi K70 Ultra Lamborghini Edition
It is reported that the K80 Pro might be exclusive to the Chinese market, while the K80e and K80 could be rebranded as the Poco X7 Pro and Poco F7 Pro for the global market.
