Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi A3x to its Redmi A series, now accessible worldwide on its official site following its initial launch in Pakistan. This latest model is a simpler version of the Redmi A3, targeting users who seek an economical yet capable smartphone.

Redmi A3x Specifications

The Redmi A3x is equipped with a 6.71-inch display boasting a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate, ensuring a crisp and fluid visual experience. The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T603 processor, which includes two ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.6 GHz.

Storage configurations offer either 3 GB or 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM paired with 64 GB or 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage. This storage can be expanded up to 1 TB via a MicroSD card. The device is also fitted with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 10 W charging through a USB Type-C port.

Camera and Other Features

The Redmi A3x includes an 8 MP main camera and a QVGA lens for basic photography needs, complemented by a 5 MP front camera. Additional features include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, dual SIM support, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone runs on Android 14 and is slated to receive two major Android updates along with security updates until 2027.

Pricing

Although the pricing in markets such as the EU is not yet revealed, the phone is available in Pakistan for PKR 18,999 ($68) for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
