Realme Watch S2 Design Leaked Before July 30 Launch

Realme is making a return to the smartwatch market after a two-year break with the upcoming Realme Watch S2. This device was recently found on the FCC database under the model number RMW2401. Additionally, tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared box images of the Watch S2, giving us a glimpse of its design.

The shared image indicates that the S2 retains a traditional round design. It promises essential fitness tracking features but introduces new functionalities such as Bluetooth calling and audio playback, which were absent in the original Watch S released in 2020. The watch includes a digital crown and button on the side and comes with a metal link strap. According to the FCC listing, the device houses a 380mAh battery and supports 5W charging.

Upcoming Launch and Expected Specifications

Though further details remain scarce, it is highly probable that the smartwatch will not run on the Google Wear OS operating system. Ishan Agarwal has also mentioned that the smartwatch will launch in India alongside the Realme 13 Pro series smartphones, scheduled for release on July 30. While we await more information on the Watch S2, examining the specifications of its predecessor might provide some insights into what to expect.

Realme Watch S

The original Watch S features a 1.3-inch round LCD touch panel with a 360 x 360 resolution, an aluminum body, and a removable strap. It is powered by a 390mAh battery that offers up to 20 days of life, though it lacks GPS connectivity. The watch supports Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

It comes equipped with multiple sports modes, downloadable watch faces, call and message notifications, find phone functionality, remote camera control, music control, a heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen monitor, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a rotor vibration motor.
