Earlier this year, Realme revealed a brand new series of smartphones known as the P Series. This lineup began with the introduction of the Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro in April, and now it has expanded to include a third model called the Realme P1 Speed.
Design and Display Features
The Realme P1 Speed maintains the same design style as its predecessors. It features a flat OLED screen and a prominent circular camera arrangement on the back. The display measures 6.67 inches and boasts a 120Hz refresh rate along with a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. Additionally, there's a centered punch hole accommodating a 16MP front camera.
Performance and Storage
At the heart of the device lies the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor. Realme offers it with options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and users can allocate up to 14GB of the phone's storage for dynamic RAM. The version with 8GB RAM includes 128GB of storage, while the 12GB RAM model provides 256GB of storage. Both options utilize UFS 3.1 technology.
Gaming Capabilities
The Realme P1 Speed is equipped with several gaming-friendly features. Its display is said to be certified lag-free, and it can sustain a frame rate of 90 FPS even when the battery is running low. The phone incorporates a 6,050mm² stainless steel vapor chamber for effective cooling, along with Realme's GT Mode for enhanced gaming performance.
Camera and Battery Specs
On the back, there’s a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP portrait camera. The device houses a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging, with the charger included in the box. The Realme P1 Speed also features stereo speakers, an audio jack, dual SIM capabilities, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4, although it lacks NFC. It has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and is available in Textured Titanium and Brushed Blue color options.
Software and Pricing
The Realme P1 Speed operates on realme UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14 and includes several AI functionalities. The starting price is ₹17,999 (~$214/€196) for the 128GB model, going up to ₹20,999 (~$250/€229) for the 12+256GB variant. Moreover, Realme plans to offer a flat discount of ₹2,000 (~$24) on both models when they launch on October 20.
