Realme's budget Note series is generating excitement once more, as the Realme Note 60x has been seen on various certification sites, indicating its release might be sooner than anticipated. After the launch of the Realme Note 60 in Indonesia earlier this year, this upcoming model could add some enhancements and modifications to the series.
Model Identification
The Realme Note 60x has been listed with the model number RMX3938 on both the EU Declaration and FCC certification platforms, as shared by MySmartPrice. It has also appeared on other sites, like NBTC, confirming its marketing name and indicating that the phone will only support 4G, aligning with its status as an entry-level device.
Battery and Design
Images from the FCC offer further details about the device's specs, showcasing a 5000mAh (typical) battery along with 10W charging capabilities through the included OP52JCUH charger. The phone weighs in at 187 grams and has dimensions of 167.26 x 76.67 x 7.84mm, making it a slender choice in its segment.
Camera Features
The camera configuration seems to have been altered. Initial sources pointed to a 32MP primary camera, but the latest FCC documents reveal an 8MP rear camera equipped with autofocus, replacing the earlier flicker sensor. The front-facing camera is anticipated to be 5MP, which fits well with its budget-oriented design.
Connectivity Options
In terms of connectivity, the Realme Note 60x will support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, along with various satellite navigation systems such as Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, BDS, and SBAS. This device is set to operate on Android 14, featuring Realme UI 5.0 right out of the box.
Launch and Pricing
The certification of the Realme Note 60x hints at a potential global launch, which could broaden the scope of the Note series. It will join the Realme Note 60, which was launched in Indonesia in August, featuring a 6.74-inch display, Unisoc T612 chipset, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and an appealing starting price of 1,399,000 Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $90 or ₹7,580). By comparison, it’s even more affordable than the Redmi A4 5G, which starts at 8,499 INR in India.
Traditionally, the Realme Note series has been limited to specific international markets, and it has not yet made its debut in India. It will be interesting to see whether Realme intends to shift this pattern with the introduction of the Note 60x.
