Realme and BOE have recently introduced an innovative display set to grace the upcoming GT Neo 6 SE model. Launched at a special event, this cutting-edge display boasts an exceptional peak brightness of 6000 nits along with enhancements in various aspects like brightness, eye protection, touch responsiveness, and more.
Realme and BOE Introduce Revolutionary 6000 Nits Display
One of the standout features of this display is its exceptional local peak brightness of 6,000 nits, positioning it as the brightest globally. While hitting this impressive peak, the display also offers a global maximum brightness of 1,600 nits and a manual maximum brightness of 1000 nits.
The manual setting becomes particularly significant for users, allowing them to adjust the screen brightness to the maximum level using the phone's brightness slider.
Enhanced Display Capabilities and Eye Protection
Realme has not only focused on delivering top-notch display performance but has also prioritized eye protection features. The new display incorporates a "game super HDR" attribute that promises an immersive gaming experience by providing expanded dynamic ranges for captivating light and shadow effects.
In terms of eye protection, the display supports features like a new 3+1 Pulse low-frequency flicker, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and hardware-level low blue light capabilities. It also includes adaptive display, sleep mode, and paper eye protection to alleviate eye strain.
Cutting-Edge Technology and AI Integration
Employing advanced 8T LTPO technology, the display ensures smoother refresh rate transitions, reduced power consumption, and faster response times. Realme mentions that the panel's refresh rate spans from 0.5 to 120Hz.
Furthermore, AI functionalities are integrated into the display. Realme introduces a "Greenfield AI" eye protection feature that identifies user fatigue and adjusts the display settings accordingly for different scenarios such as system interfaces, media content, and e-books. An AI game eye protection feature optimizes the display during gaming sessions for enhanced eye comfort.
The display is equipped with a 2500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate to deliver a responsive gaming experience, complemented by a "wonderful touch" function that tailors the touch experience for improved game control.
This next-generation display technology will make its debut on the Realme GT Neo6 SE, set for an April release. More details regarding the smartphone are expected to be unveiled shortly.
