Realme GT 7 Pro Set for Global Launch as First Snapdragon 8 Elite

Realme is gearing up to unveil its new premium smartphone, the GT 7 Pro, later this month. In China, it will be among the first devices to sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while on a global scale, it’s anticipated to be the very first phone equipped with this processor.

Global Release Approaching

The smartphone seems to be progressing through the essential stages for its international launch. It has recently obtained approval from Thailand’s NBTC certification authority. The device is identified by the model number RMX5011 on the certification. As is typical for NBTC, there are no specific details about the phone’s features, but it does indicate that the phone is close to a global debut.

Indian Market Launch

Although there is no official confirmation yet, it’s probable that the smartphone will make its way to the Indian market in November. This timing hints at a forthcoming rivalry with the iQOO 13, which is expected to be launched in the first week of December in India.

Anticipated Features of Realme GT 7 Pro

Reports suggest that the Realme GT 7 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that boasts a 1.5K resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be the first device from Realme to incorporate an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.

On the front side, the GT 7 Pro is likely to feature a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. The rear is expected to house a primary 50-megapixel LYT-700 camera with OIS, alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera featuring 3x optical zoom.

Inside, the GT 7 Pro will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone might be equipped with a large 6,500mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging.

In addition to these features, you can expect a metal frame on the sides, an IP68/69-rated body for water and dust resistance, and it will run on Realme UI 6 based on Android 15. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
