Realme GT 7 Pro Leak: BOE X2 Display, 3x Zoom, 100W Charging

Realme has recently launched the Realme 13 Pro series of smartphones in China. In the upcoming weeks, the company is anticipated to unveil additional Realme 13-branded devices in its domestic market. By late October or November, the Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to debut, equipped with the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The tipster known as Digital Chat Station has already shared substantial details about the GT 7 Pro, and today, more information was disclosed through their Weibo account.

Rumored Specifications of Realme GT 7 Pro

Although the Weibo post doesn't explicitly name the Realme GT 7 Pro, the emojis and specifications strongly imply it is the device in question. The post reveals that the Realme GT 7 Pro will sport a new BOE X2 display, which appears flat even with its micro-curved edges on all sides. For reference, the Realme GT 5 Pro, launched last December, featured a BOE X1 screen. The leaker noted that the screen's parameters can be customized, and Realme might use different branding to promote the display.

While the leaker mentioned the screen will support a 1.5K resolution, the size remains undisclosed. However, given that the BOE X2 is likely an upgraded version of the BOE X1, the Realme GT 7 Pro's screen might be 6.78 inches, similar to its predecessor, the GT 5 Pro.

Key Hardware and Features

The Realme GT 7 Pro is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It seems the highest variant of this model will offer 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. Although the leak didn't specify the battery size, it did mention a high-capacity silicon battery with 100W charging support. The leaker previously suggested the possibility of a 6,000mAh+ battery. There’s still uncertainty regarding wireless charging support, as it cannot be enabled on the device's current engineering prototype.

The rear camera setup on the Realme GT 7 Pro might include a LYT-600 3X periscope lens but could lack a telephoto macro lens. An earlier leak by the same source indicated the device might support 10x hybrid zoom and 120x digital zoom, potentially featuring a 50-megapixel main camera sensor.

Build and Security Features

The GT 7 Pro is expected to have an IP68/69-rated construction, making it dust and water-resistant. For security, the device will incorporate a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
