Realme is gearing up to unveil the Realme GT 6 on June 20 for the global market, including India. With just a few days left for the launch, the company is actively revealing key specifications of the upcoming phone. Recently, the brand confirmed details about the chipset, battery size, and fast charging capabilities. Now, the focus has shifted to its primary and telephoto cameras.
Realme GT 6 Camera Specifications Confirmed
The Realme GT 6 will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary camera with OIS. This camera boasts a 1/1.4-inch sensor size and a wide f/1.69 aperture. This flagship-level camera is also found in other high-end phones such as the Realme GT 5 Pro, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, Oppo Find X7, and Oppo Find N3.
Paired with the high-end Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, the GT 6 is expected to deliver exceptional photo quality. The company has confirmed that the main camera supports 4K Dolby Vision video recording.
In addition to the primary camera, the Realme GT 6 will also have a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a 47mm focal length. Although the brand hasn't mentioned it explicitly, the camera setup seems to include an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper.
The GT 6 will support Realme’s HyperTone Image Engine, which processes images in the RAW domain using AI. Photography features include Texture Portrait, Fast Capture, Night Mode, Star Mode, Street Mode, AI Smart Removal, and AI Night Vision. Regarding other specifications, Realme has confirmed that the GT 6 will house a 5,500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. It will come with a BOE-supplied 8T LTPO OLED screen offering up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. For seamless performance, the device will feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, it will have the world’s largest 10,014 sq mm dual VC cooling system.
