At the 828 Fan Festival held at its headquarters in China, Realme introduced the 320W SuperSonic Charge and showcased the technology live. The demonstration featured a phone equipped with a 4,420mAh battery, which was fully charged in under 4 minutes and 30 seconds. This rapid charging capability led the brand to describe it as a “miracle” achieved in 4 minutes. During the presentation, the smartphone reached 26 percent charge within just 1 minute and hit 50 percent in less than 2 minutes.
This advancement is not merely a new charger; it involves the world’s first folded battery and a sophisticated safety solution. After years of research, Realme developed a method to make batteries more compact while ensuring safety during fast charging. Using a quad cell battery design, Realme can charge four individual cells simultaneously. These batteries are only 3mm thick but hold a 10 percent higher capacity.
