Xiaomi has started the pre-order phase for its latest security camera series following a successful crowdfunding campaign. The lineup includes three models: the C300, C500, and BW500. Keep in mind that prices are set to rise once the pre-order phase concludes.
C300, C500 and BW500 Pre-Sale Information
The Xiaomi Smart Camera C300 is available for pre-order from June 12 to June 19 at 269 CNY. Post the pre-order period, the price will increase to 299 CNY. Similarly, the C500 will be up for pre-sale during the same dates, with its price moving from 319 CNY to 349 CNY after June 19.
The BW500’s pre-sale period starts a bit later, from June 14 to June 20, priced at 379 CNY. After this window, the cost will rise to 399 CNY.

Xiaomi Smart Camera C300
The standout feature of the Xiaomi Smart Camera C300 Dual-Camera Edition is its dual-lens setup. It includes a 6mm pan-tilt telephoto lens and a 2.8mm short-focus fixed lens. The telephoto lens provides 360-degree horizontal panning and 88-degree vertical tilting, enabling comprehensive home monitoring. The fixed lens offers a targeted view of specific areas. Additionally, the camera supports infrared for night vision.
The C300 leverages advanced AI capabilities to enhance security. The camera can detect human figures and recognize unusual sounds, sending alerts accordingly. It also features facial recognition to identify unknown individuals.
Dual Camera Footage
With one fixed and one rotating lens, the Xiaomi C300 can cover blind spots effectively. Users can view footage from both lenses simultaneously via the Mi Home app. The camera supports Wi-Fi 6 for better network performance and includes Xiaomi’s security chip to prevent privacy breaches. Storage options include microSD card, cloud storage, and NAS storage, and the camera supports H.265 encoding for efficient video compression.
