Honor Opens Pre-Orders for Honor 100 Series on JD.com

Honor has officially started accepting pre-orders for its highly anticipated Honor 100 series on the e-commerce platform JD.com in China. This comes after the company recently opened reservations on its official website.

Color Options Revealed

Although the pre-order listing on JD.com does not provide any new information about the pricing or specifications of the smartphones, it does give us a glimpse into the color options available. The Honor 100 and 100 Pro are both listed with four color choices: Moon Shadow White, Monet Purple, Gloss Black, and Butterfly Blue.

Snapdragon Processors and Eye-Protecting Screen

While Honor has kept the specifications of the Honor 100 series under wraps, leaks suggest that the base model will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. On the other hand, the Pro model is expected to feature Qualcomm's flagship processor from last year, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Additionally, according to reliable tipster DCS, both smartphones in the Honor 100 series will sport a 1.5K Oasis eye-protecting screen with 3840Hz PWM dimming, which aims to reduce eye strain.

Impressive Camera and Fast Charging

The leaked information also reveals that both models in the Honor 100 series will come with a 50MP main camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) for capturing high-quality photos. Moreover, the Honor 100 Pro is likely to offer an SLR-level photography experience, as hinted by an Honor executive.

Another notable feature of the Honor 100 series is its support for 100W charging, which promises incredibly fast charging times for the devices.

With pre-orders now open, consumers in China can secure their spot to get their hands on the Honor 100 series. While the exact release date and pricing details are yet to be announced, the availability of pre-orders indicates that the launch is just around the corner.
