POCO M6 Plus 5G Receives BIS Certification Before India Launch

POCO is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India, the POCO M6 Plus 5G. This revelation comes from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification listing, where the device appeared with the model number 24065PC95I.

The device had previously been detected in the HyperOS code and is anticipated to be a rebranded variant of the Redmi Note 13R, potentially launching in June. Below are the features of the Note 13R to give an insight into what to expect from the POCO M6 Plus 5G.

Redmi Note 13R Specifications

The Redmi Note 13R is equipped with a 6.79-inch LCD display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 550 nits. The refresh rate has been upgraded from 90Hz to an adaptive 120Hz. Additionally, the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

Regarding the camera setup, the Redmi Note 13R includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the device has an 8MP front-facing camera.

Performance and Storage

Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, the Redmi Note 13R offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This is an upgrade from the Note 12R, which maxes out at 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device is also fitted with a slightly larger 5,030mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It runs on HyperOS-based Android 14 OS right out of the box.
