Today, Poco is set to unveil the Poco F6 Deadpool Limited Edition in India. Recent rumors suggest the company's next budget-friendly 5G offering, the Poco M6 Plus 5G, is also on the horizon. The phone's landing page has recently appeared on Flipkart, indicating it will be officially announced on August 1 in India.
Poco M6 Plus 5G Design Revealed
The Poco M6 Plus 5G’s landing page highlights a dual-tone design on its rear. The device features flat edges and a punch-hole display on the front.
The rear dual-camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture and 3x in-sensor zoom support, accompanied by a ring LED flash. Unfortunately, the brand has not disclosed further details about this device.
Possible Specifications
Reports suggest the Poco M6 Plus could be a modified version of the Redmi Note 13R, which launched a couple of months ago in China. The Note 13R boasts a 6.7-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 120Hz screen, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel front camera, a 108-megapixel dual camera system, and a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The M6 Plus is expected to be priced between Rs 13,000 to Rs 15,000.
Upcoming Releases
Apart from the Poco M6 Plus 5G, several new smartphones are slated for release in the Indian market shortly. These include the Oppo K12x on July 29, the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ on July 30, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus on July 31, the Motorola Edge 50 on August 1, the Infinix Note 40x 5G on August 5, and the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro by early August. These devices will be available on Flipkart. Additionally, the iQOO Z9s series, which includes the iQOO Z9s and the iQOO Z9s Pro, is also expected to launch in India in August, with sales through Amazon.
