The POCO M6 5G made its debut in India last year with three RAM and storage variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Additionally, the brand launched an Airtel Locked version earlier this year, which was more affordable than the regular models. However, POCO has just introduced a new variant of the smartphone. POCO M6 5G gets a new variant
According to a Flipkart banner, the new variant of the POCO M6 5G maintains the 4GB RAM but reduces the internal storage to 64GB, down from the previous 128GB. This version is priced at Rs 8,249. It will be the fourth variant in the lineup and will be available for purchase starting July 20 at 12 am. The new model comes in Orion Blue, Polaris Green, and Galactic Black colors.
Core Specifications Remain the Same
Other than the changes in RAM and storage, the core specifications of the POCO M6 5G remain unchanged. It sports a 6.4-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Dimensity 6100+ processor and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Design and Features
The POCO M6 5G features a dual-toned design with a Black rectangular camera island that houses a 50MP main camera and an AI lens. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera. The power button also functions as a fingerprint scanner. On the software front, the device is slated to receive two OS updates and three security patches.
