OnePlus has released a new update for its OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 8T smartphones, bringing along a December 2023 security patch. While both smartphones receive the security patch, the OnePlus 11 also gets additional enhancements and features. The updates are currently being rolled out to the Indian variants of the smartphones.
OnePlus 11 users will receive the OxygenOS 14.0.0.304 update, which not only includes the latest security patch but also aims to improve system stability and performance. Some of the key changes in this update include:

- Extended battery life in certain scenarios.
- Fixed an issue where some icons in the status bar might not be displayed.
- Fixed a display or lag issue that could occur when closing an app.

- Fixed an issue where the Eraser tool for editing photos might not work properly.

- Fixed an issue where the screen might turn white when opening "Theme Store".
- Fixed an issue where the screen might turn black when opening "Call of Duty: Mobile".
The update is being rolled out to all users, but it may take some time for each unit to receive it as it is a staggered update.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 8T receives the OxygenOS 13.1.0.583 update, which primarily focuses on enhancing system security with a new Android security patch. No other changes are listed in the changelog, and the update is currently available to a small percentage of users. The broader rollout will take place in the coming days.
