Oppo has officially announced that the Reno 13 smartphone series is set to launch on November 25 in China. Pre-orders for the Reno 13 lineup are already open on Oppo China’s website and various online platforms. Despite this, the official listings have not disclosed any specific details regarding the Reno 13 or the Reno 13 Pro. However, newly updated listings have provided confirmation of the designs and specifications for both models.
Design and Features of the Reno 13 Series
The Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro come in a striking Butterfly Purple color. Both devices showcase a front display with slim bezels. Notably, the Reno 13 Pro features a micro-quad-curved display with thinner bezels, while the standard Reno 13 has a flat screen with thicker bezels. Reports indicate that the Reno 13 will sport a 6.59-inch display, whereas the Pro model will have a larger 6.83-inch screen.
The back designs of the Reno 13 and 13 Pro are very similar. The Pro variant has a distinct oblong shape for its third camera and LED flash. It's reported that the Reno 13 Pro will include a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto or periscope telephoto camera. Details about the camera setup for the standard model are still unclear. Nevertheless, both smartphones are anticipated to feature a 50-megapixel front camera.
Performance and Specifications
The Reno 13 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 8300 processor. However, there are claims that this device will feature the newer Dimensity 8350 chipset, which shares the same core architecture as the D8300 but with some enhancements. Unfortunately, there is currently no information available about the chipset that will power the standard Reno 13.
Color Variants and Configurations
The Reno 13 and 13 Pro will come in several configurations, including options like 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The standard version will also have a 16GB+256GB configuration. Both models will be available in Midnight Black and Butterfly Purple. Additionally, the Reno 13 will be offered in Galaxy Blue, while the Reno 13 Pro will come in Starlight Pink.
