Oppo Pad 3 Specs Leaked Before Official Launch Event

Following the release of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro in China and around the world, Oppo is getting ready to unveil the standard version called the Oppo Pad 3. This tablet is set to be announced alongside the Oppo Reno 13 series on November 25, and pre-orders are now open. The listing has also shared the specifications.

Design Details

The Oppo Pad 3 shares a similar look with its pro counterpart, featuring a flat screen, rounded edges, and a centrally placed circular camera setup. Unlike the Pad 3 Pro, which comes in two colors, the Pad 3 will be offered in Blue, Purple, and Silver colors at its launch.

Display and Performance

The Pad 3 boasts an 11.6-inch display with a stunning 2.8K resolution (2800 x 2000), a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a maximum brightness of 700 nits. According to the listing, the screen features a 7:5 aspect ratio and has a nano-textured finish that gives a paper-like writing feel. Naturally, the Oppo Pad 3 supports stylus functionality.

The Pad 3 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, but the standard version will run on MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 processor, which is a variant of the Dimensity 8300. It will come in four different configurations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. The spec sheet indicates that the 128GB model uses UFS 3.1 storage, while the 256GB and 512GB models utilize UFS 4.0.

Camera and Battery Life

For photography, the Oppo Pad 3 features an 8MP camera on both the front and back, with the rear camera capable of recording 4K video at 30fps. In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.4 and includes a USB 3.2 Type-C port. Powering the device is a robust 9,510mAh battery that supports 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Although there's no fingerprint scanner, the tablet does offer face unlock.

Oppo plans to ship the Pad 3 with ColorOS 15.0, which will introduce several AI features. Additionally, an optional stylus and keyboard case will be available for purchase. The keyboard case will include NFC but will not have a trackpad like the one found on the Pad 3 Pro. Regarding the price of the tablet, we will need to wait for the launch event. It remains unclear whether Oppo intends to sell it outside of China.
