Oppo Pad 3: NFC, Cross-Device File Management & More Features

Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station disclosed significant specifications of the Oppo Pad 3 towards the end of last month. Recently, he has shared additional details about Oppo’s upcoming tablet. According to him, the Oppo Pad 3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Enhanced Features

He also mentioned that the tablet would include an NFC coil and support cross-terminal file management. The device will introduce communication sharing 2.0, allowing users to share 5G connectivity, manage dual-sim calls, receive SMS, and more. These features are said to be deeply integrated into ColorOS.

The Oppo Pad 3 has already secured 3C certification, confirming its 67W fast charging capability.

Display and Camera

The Oppo Pad 3 will sport a 12.1″ LCD screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio. The display will offer a 3000 x 2120 (3K) resolution and a pixel density of 304PPI. It supports a peak brightness of 900 nits and will be compatible with the second-generation Oppo Stylus pen.

As previously revealed, the tablet will be equipped with two cameras – a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The front camera will support 2D facial recognition for unlocking.

Hardware Specifications

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be paired with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage. The system will be powered by a 9510 mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. Interestingly, the battery capacity and charging speed are identical to those of the Oppo Pad 2. For wired connectivity, the device will feature a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port.
