Several reports indicate that Oppo’s anticipated Find X8 series will include three models: the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra. The Ultra variant, rumored to sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, is expected to be unveiled in January 2025. Meanwhile, the X8 and X8 Pro are projected to launch in October. Today, a tipster on Weibo shared some insights about the Find X8 and X8 Pro.
Oppo Find X8, X8 Pro Key Specifications (Rumored)
The tipster revealed that both the Find X8 and X8 Pro will feature displays supporting a 1.5K resolution and will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset. Interestingly, the Vivo X200 series is also set to include the same chipset. The X200 series is anticipated to be the world’s first phone to use the Dimensity 9400, with the X8 series following closely behind.
Both models will come with a periscope telephoto lens. However, prior leaks from Digital Chat Station suggest that the X8 Pro will boast a quad-camera setup, including dual periscope telephoto cameras.
Battery and Software
Each device will have a silicon-based large battery. An earlier leak indicated that the Find X8 would be equipped with a 5,600mAh battery, while the X8 Pro would have a slightly larger 5,700mAh battery. Although the tipster did not specify, it is likely that the series will operate on Android 15 and ColorOS 15.
Design and Colors
The Find X8 and X8 Pro are expected to have a glass body. The leak mentions that both models will be available in colors such as black, white, blue, and pink. However, the Pro version will not come in pink.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra
Regarding the Ultra model, it is speculated to feature a 2K display, a 6,000mAh or 6,200mAh battery, and support for satellite connectivity.
