Oppo has just introduced its newest flagship smartphones, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, to the global market, following their first debut in China alongside the Find X8 Pro mini version. As the company works to roll out these devices internationally, intriguing details about the upcoming Oppo Find X8 Ultra have started to surface.

Speculations indicate that the Find X8 Ultra will be an exceptional camera device, aiming to outshine its forerunner, the Find X7 Ultra. Although the official launch is anticipated for spring 2025, some leaked information has already begun to emerge.
Expected Camera Features of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra
The leaks point to a quad-camera configuration, which includes a 50 MP Sony LYT 900 main sensor with a 1-inch optical format, a 50 MP Sony IMX 882 ultra-wide sensor with a 1/1.95-inch format, and two telephoto lenses: one being a 50 MP Sony LYT 701 with a 1/1.56-inch format and a focal length equivalent of 75 mm, while the other is a 50 MP Sony IMX 882 with a 1/1.95-inch format and a 150 mm equivalent focal length. The anticipated camera arrangement is likely to enhance image quality, especially with the main and ultra-wide sensors. The Find X8 Ultra is also expected to excel with its 3x and 7x telephoto lenses.
Display and Performance Expectations
Reports from earlier suggest that the engineering prototype of the Find X8 Ultra boasts a micro-quad-curved display. It is rumored to have a 6.82-inch BOE X2 LTPO OLED screen featuring a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, possibly identical to the display found in the OnePlus 13. For its processing power, the device is expected to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite (SM8750) chip, differing from the Dimensity 9400 that is used in other models within the Find X8 lineup.
The Find X8 Ultra is set to rival other high-end devices like the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Honor Magic 7 Ultimate, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Vivo X200 Ultra. While the X8 and X8 Pro have been launched globally, it is still unclear whether the X8 Ultra will be available outside of China.
