Oppo is gearing up to unveil several flagship phones in its Find series during the first half of 2025. Recent leaks have shed light on the upcoming Find N5 foldable phone, along with the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8 Mini (or Find X8 Next), and the newly discovered Find X8s, thanks to insider Digital Chat Station. Here’s a glimpse into what these upcoming devices might offer.
Expected Launch Dates for Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Find X8
According to the leak, Digital Chat Station shared insights about the design of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and mentioned that both the Find X8 Mini and Ultra versions are set to launch together. In addition, earlier information from the same source indicated that the Find X8 Ultra will make its debut after the Find N5 foldable phone launches in China in February. Therefore, it’s likely that both the Find X8 Ultra and the X8 Mini could hit the market in March 2025. The tipster also noted that the brand has plans to introduce the Find X8s, though the specific timing for its release remains uncertain. It appears to be a minor upgrade over the Find X8.
Design Features of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra
As for the design of the Find X8 Ultra, the tipster noted that it hasn’t changed much compared to the Find X8 Pro. According to the latest leak, the X8 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.82-inch BOE X2 2K resolution display with a micro-quad-curved design. Previous leaks suggest that its display may be similar to that of the OnePlus 13. The device will have a metal middle frame with smooth transitions and a prominent circular camera module at the back. The camera setup resembles that of the Find X8 Pro, but the camera bumps will be more pronounced due to the inclusion of a one-inch sensor along with dual periscope lenses. Remarkably, the device is anticipated to be thinner than expected. For reference, the Find X7 Ultra measured 9.5mm in thickness and weighed 221 grams. The X8 Ultra is likely to be both slimmer and lighter than its predecessor.
