As the launch of the Oppo Find X8 approaches this month, new leaks from Weibo have emerged, offering insights into the device's design, especially its updated rear camera module. A leaked image showcases a Bluish Silver color option, highlighting a circular rear camera arrangement with three sensors. Earlier, the device was also seen in a Black color variant.
Rear Design Details
The back of the Find X8 appears quite similar to the OnePlus Open and the Oppo Find N3, featuring an "H" branding in the center of the camera module. This design element confirms Oppo's continuing partnership with Hasselblad, indicating that the camera's software and color accuracy are likely to benefit from this collaboration.
Front Design and User Interface
Oppo officials have previously revealed the front design of the Find X8, which bears a strong resemblance to the base model iPhones. There have even been comparisons made between the two designs. Furthermore, the forthcoming ColorOS 15 is expected to include a camera and flash button layout akin to iOS, enhancing the similarity.
Performance and Specifications
On the performance front, the Oppo Find X8 is anticipated to be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset, which has shown impressive results in early Geekbench tests. The Pro variant, equipped with the same chipset, has performed exceptionally well on AnTuTu benchmarks. This chipset is poised to deliver strong performance in both single-core and multi-core operations. As for photography, the device is likely to feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 3x periscope zoom lens.
The Oppo Find X8 is also expected to sport a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120Hz for enhanced visual experience. The standard model is likely to include a 5,600mAh battery with 100W wired charging, while the Pro version may offer a slightly larger 5,800mAh battery with 50W wireless charging.
Both models are expected to come with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. Recent leaks suggest that the Find X8 series will also be available in global markets, including India.
