Oppo Find X8 Pro Leak: Dimensity 9400, Quad Cameras, Dual Periscope

Oppo is reportedly developing the Find X8 series of smartphones. Sources indicate that this lineup might include three models: the Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra. The Ultra variant could make its debut in January 2025, while the X8 and X8 Pro are expected to launch in October or November of this year. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station shared key information about what seems to be the Find X8 Pro flagship.

Oppo Find X8 Pro Key Details Leaked (Rumored)

Rumors suggest that the Find X8 and X8 Pro might be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset. In contrast, the Find X8 Ultra is speculated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Although the tipster didn't explicitly name the device in the Weibo post, it's likely he was referring to the Find X8 Pro.

The leak indicates that, like the Find X8, the Pro variant will come with a relatively large display supporting a 1.5K resolution. Previous reports have suggested that while the X8 may sport a flat display, the Pro variant might feature a curved-edge screen.

Advanced Features and Specifications

The recent leak also unveils the inclusion of a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor in the X8 Pro’s display. The device is expected to be powered by a large silicon battery.

The Find X8 Pro will boast a quad-camera setup, including two periscope telephoto cameras on the back. The current engineering prototype of the device reportedly features a LYT-808 lens as the primary camera. One of the periscope units is said to include the Sony IMX882 (LYT-600) camera sensor. Additionally, the X8 Pro will offer IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance.
