Around two months remain before the Oppo Find X8 series is unveiled, which is expected to include at least three models: the Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra. Reports suggest that the Find X8 and X8 Pro will launch in China in October, while the Ultra might be announced by January 2025. Recently, a tipster known as Digital Chat Station shared a schematic that seems to reveal the design of the standard Find X8.
Design Details
DCS has also mentioned that the Find X8 will sport a flat screen, while the X8 Pro and X8 Ultra will feature displays with a micro-curvature design. Thus, the image showing a flat display likely represents the standard Find X8 model.
The schematic indicates an earpiece situated on the top bezel of the Find X8. The device seems to have an alert slider on the left and a volume rocker along with a power button on the right side.
Camera Features
On the back of the Find X8, there’s a round camera module that includes four camera rings with a Hasselblad logo centered. Being a standard variant, it is expected to house a triple camera setup. An LED flash is positioned in the upper-left corner of the module.
Comparing to Oppo Find X7
For comparison, the Find X7, which launched in January this year, shares a similar design but features a curved-edge display instead of a flat one. Additionally, although it also has a round camera module on the rear, the layout slightly differs.
Oppo Find X8 Rumored Specifications
Rumors suggest that the Oppo Find X8 will sport a 6.4-inch or 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is anticipated to be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset and equipped with a 5,600mAh silicon battery. The phone is expected to run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. The rear camera setup is likely to include a 50-megapixel Sony main camera, an ultrawide lens, and a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera. The color options may include black, white, blue, and pink.
