Oppo and Honor, two major Chinese smartphone brands, are gearing up to unveil their latest flagship smartphones. Recent leaks and rumors have been surfacing on the internet, providing more details about these upcoming devices and hinting at an imminent launch.
According to a reliable tipster known as Digital Chat Station, both the Oppo Find X7 series and the Honor Magic 6 series are expected to be announced around January 8-10. This means that they will be unveiled before the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
Let's take a closer look at what we can expect from these new lineups.
Oppo Find X7 Series
The Oppo Find X7 series is rumored to consist of three models:
- Oppo Find X7
- Oppo Find X7 Pro
- Oppo Find X7 Ultra
One interesting detail is that the vanilla Find X7 will feature a different chipset compared to its siblings. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the other two models will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
The entire Find X7 series is expected to come with zoom cameras. In fact, the 'Pro' and 'Ultra' models will reportedly be equipped with two periscope zoom cameras, whereas the standard model will have only one.
Speaking of the Find X7 Pro, it is said to retain the display from its predecessor. This means it will feature a 6.82-inch quad-curved OLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 1-120Hz (LTPO). Additionally, it will come with an alert slider, a feature that was present in the previous Find X model.
Honor Magic 6 Series
Moving on to the Honor Magic 6 series, this lineup is expected to bring several notable improvements and features. Some of the rumored highlights include:
- An improved ToF 3D face recognition system
- A variable aperture camera
- A 160MP periscope camera
- An AI model with 7 billion parameters
These features suggest that Honor is focusing on enhancing the camera capabilities and overall performance of the Magic 6 series.
With both Oppo and Honor gearing up for their flagship smartphone launches, it will be interesting to see how these devices will compete in the highly competitive market. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the rumored January 8-10 announcement dates.
