There are rumors suggesting that Oppo is set to launch the Oppo Find N5 foldable smartphone next month, in February, within China. While the N5 is anticipated to hit the market this month, rival foldable devices from other brands are expected to be unveiled in the latter half of this year. This indicates that the N5 might enjoy a notable edge over its rivals. Recent updates indicate that Oppo will soon share the first teasers for the N5.
First Teasers Coming Soon
According to the information available, Oppo’s Find Product Manager, Zhou Yibao, has shared that the initial teasers for the Find N5 will be released this week. With these details about the eagerly awaited foldable device being revealed soon, it seems likely that its official launch could follow shortly after the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival, which is projected to conclude in the third week of February. Therefore, the Find N5 is expected to arrive sometime in the latter part of February.
Global Launch on the Horizon
In addition to China, the Find N5 is anticipated to make its way to Southeast Asian markets as well. The global launch of the N5 is drawing nearer, as the smartphone has already achieved certification in various regions.
Rumored Specifications
Reports suggest that the Oppo Find N5 will be a lighter and thinner device, constructed from titanium. While it may feature an enhanced design compared to the Find N3 released in 2023, the N5 is rumored to possess a larger battery capacity of nearly 6,000mAh. It is also likely to support 50W wireless charging alongside rapid wired charging capabilities.
The Find N5 is expected to come equipped with a 2K resolution internal foldable display. On its rear, the device will showcase a circular camera module, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. It is also anticipated to operate on ColorOS 15, built on Android 15.
