Oppo Find N5 Leak: Camera Downgrade, 5,600mAh Battery, 8.12″ Display

Oppo has made a big announcement about the launch of its eagerly awaited Find N5 foldable smartphone. The phone is set to be released on February 20 in China. Along with this news, the company shared several images that highlight the phone’s stylish design and available colors. Although there has been a lot of talk about the specifications, details such as display size and battery capacity were kept secret—until now. A leaked screenshot from the Find N5’s “About Phone” section has unveiled some thrilling information about the new device.

Rumored Specifications of Oppo Find N5

The Oppo Find N5, which holds the model number PKH110, will boast an 8.12-inch internal foldable display. However, information about the phone’s outer screen is still missing. The device will run on the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, making it the first foldable smartphone to use this specific chipset.

Memory and Battery Features

This device will come with an impressive 16GB of RAM, in addition to 12GB of virtual RAM and 512GB of internal storage. While its predecessor, the Find N3, had a 4,805mAh battery, the N5 will feature a significantly larger 5,600mAh battery that is compatible with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone will operate on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15, providing users with the latest software experience.

Camera Capabilities and Differences

When it comes to the camera, the Find N5 will have a triple rear camera setup, although the leaked information contradicts earlier expectations. Rather than having three 50-megapixel sensors, the phone will include a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and another 50-megapixel sensor that might serve as a 3x periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, it will offer two 8-megapixel cameras—one located on the outer screen and another on the internal display.

There appears to be a reduction in camera quality compared to its predecessor, which included a 32-megapixel front camera, a 20-megapixel internal camera, and a triple camera setup on the back featuring a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 64-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto lens.

Awaiting Confirmation

Oppo has confirmed that the Find N5 will indeed feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, but it has not yet verified the other specifications of the device. Thus, it’s wise to take the leaked information with a grain of salt.
