Oppo Find N4 & OnePlus Open 2 Launch Date, Chipset, Revealed

Oppo is reportedly developing its fourth-generation foldable phone, the Oppo Find N4, aimed at the Chinese market. Last year, the Find N3 was also exclusive to China, while its global counterpart was released as the OnePlus Open. Given this pattern, it’s likely that the N4 will be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2 for international markets. A recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the launch timeline for the Find N4 / Open 2.

Oppo Find N4 / OnePlus Open 2 Key Details (Rumored)

According to a Weibo post by DCS, Huawei is working on a tri-foldable smartphone featuring the Kirin 9-series chipset, dual hinges, and several new technologies. However, the release date for this device remains unclear.

Next, DCS hints at the imminent launch of Oppo and Vivo’s next-generation foldable phones. These devices, likely to be named the Find N4 and Vivo X Fold 4 / Pro, are expected to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2025. This means the OnePlus Open 2 may also launch globally around the same time.

DCS disclosed that these devices would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Despite having a battery capacity of approximately 6,000mAh, these foldable phones will maintain a slim profile. Unfortunately, no additional details were shared about these devices.
