A Global Launch Could Be Imminent

The Oppo A3 Pro, bearing the model number CPH2639, has already been spotted on UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform. These appearances suggest that a global launch is likely soon.

The BIS listing does not reveal the device’s specifications. However, given its availability in China, the global version is expected to be quite similar.

Specifications in China

The Chinese variant of the Oppo A3 Pro features a 6.7″ curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The display achieves 500 nits in manual peak brightness, 800 nits in HBM, and 950 nits in local peak brightness. An in-display optical fingerprint scanner is also included.

The rear camera setup consists of a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses an 8MP camera for selfies.

Performance and Battery

The A3 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage in China. The global variant may offer different storage and memory options.

The Dimensity 7050 includes 2 x Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and 6 x Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. The phone scores around 900 and 2300 in Geekbench single and multi-core tests, respectively, and features a Mali G68 GPU for graphics.

It comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC charging. Notably, it has an IP69 dust and water resistance rating, a feature usually seen in flagship devices like the vivo X100 Ultra.
