OnePlus is said to be preparing for the release of its newest smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3. This device is anticipated to launch alongside the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R flagship smartphones on a global scale. The OnePlus Watch 3 has recently been listed on certification platforms such as India’s BIS and China’s MIIT, which have disclosed important details and design aspects. Now, additional information has surfaced on the FCC certification platform, shedding more light on the device ahead of its official introduction.

The OnePlus Watch 3, identified by the model number OPWWE251, was found on the FCC's site, where it is classified as a "Watch." The certification details the dimensions of the OnePlus Watch 3—46.6 x 47.6 x 11.75mm. In comparison, its predecessor, the OnePlus Watch 2, has dimensions of 47 x 46.6 x 12.1mm, featuring a 46mm case size and a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. Thus, the new smartwatch will be slightly thinner than the previous model.
Battery and Connectivity Features
Another significant piece of information from the FCC listing is the inclusion of a much larger battery. The OnePlus Watch 3 will be equipped with a 631mAh rated battery (648mAh typical), which marks a considerable increase from the OnePlus Watch 2’s 500mAh battery. This enhancement may lead to better battery performance, which is undoubtedly a critical factor for any wearable device.

The smartwatch is likely to utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear W5 SoC, the same chipset found in its predecessor. The OnePlus Watch 2 was launched at a price of Rs 24,999 in India, boasting a variety of features such as an AMOLED display with 1000nits peak brightness, military-grade durability, and 5ATM + IP68 water and dust resistance. It also supports over 100 sports modes and incorporates the Snapdragon W5 + BES 2700 dual processors.
